From the quiet town of Togouchi, this whisky is aged in underground tunnels by Chugoku Jozo, the makers behind Sakurao Distillery near Hiroshima.
While the brewery has been crafting sake, shochu, and liqueurs since 1918, the Togouchi whisky line began in the 1990s. This 9-year-old blend brings together carefully selected malt and grain whiskies, matured slowly to create a smooth, balanced expression with a distinctly Japanese touch.
